NEW IFFILBM.Imort Module FOR PAGESTREAM v2.0 & v2.1!!
version 2.0.6
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.6)
* Now handles 0 length chunks properly. MacroPaint writes
out a 0 length chunk in their IFF files. This caused the
import module to toss the file and never load it in.
This has been fixed.
* The import module will now correctly read IFF pics with
nasty cmap chunk lengths. By this I mean cmap chunk lengths
that are not evenly divisible by 3.
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.5)
* added support for 24bit IFF's without CMAPs
(for example DCTV files)
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.4)
* added support for IFF ACBM files
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.3)
* adding color correction for digi view 24 bit files
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.2)
* when importing Digi-View 24 bit pictures (RGB save option)
the pictures would be "washed out". This is due to the
way Digi-View stores the pictures. The 21 bit files they
create suffer from the same problem. Basically the problem
with the pictures is that they are stored as a low contrast
image. So, to fix the problem when importing the picture
we have to increase the contrast. This has been fixed.
CHANGES FROM LAST RELEASE: (2.0.1)
* bug fix - You can now set the dpi when importing any
IFF picture. In version 2.0.1 the dpi you specified
would be canceled out if a CAMG chunk was found in the
IFF file.
* Added support for BEAM pictures. BEAM is similar to
Dynamic Hires except the pictures are limited to low res.
* Added support for 18-bit & 15-bit IFF that conform to the
Deep ILBM standard. THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED!! We do not
have any 18-bit or 15-bit pictures to test with. If you
have some and they DO NOT work please upload them to
the BBS so we can fix this problem.
That's about all, if you find a file that will not import or comes in
looking messy (and it is not suppose to), please upload it to the BBS
with all the information you can supply. By doing this you can help us
make a more inclusive IFF import module or just fix any bugs in the
current one that we do not know about. THANK YOU!!
